Factors Making Bluetooth Headsets a Must-Have

Technology has really taken its own toll on this new millennium. All of it not only comes with convenience but also with excellent style and design. Headsets are no exception.

We started with headphones with long wires. But gone are their days. Now we do not only have wireless but also Bluetooth headsets. You might just shrug now but until you discover how amazing they are, you will abandon the thought of keeping your old ear buds without second thoughts.

Superb audio quality is perhaps the most popular highlight of modern Bluetooth headsets. They have these noise cancellation options you can choose from. They do not even come in very pricy. Some are relatively high-priced; this is only because they provide the state-of-the-art noise cancellation technologies that consider excellence. Of course, when saying audio quality, the sound on both ends of the lines is considered. However, you must not think that price is always the determining factor to have a qualitative headset.

There are also more advanced Bluetooth headsets such as those stereo ones that use the A2DP Bluetooth profile. This profile is primarily for streaming sound from an MP3 player, computer, mobile phone and other A2DP Bluetooth transmitters. The standard Bluetooth protocol handles the call while connecting to a phone. When the call is received the stereo sound pauses and it continues to take pause while you are on the call. It starts automatically once the call has ended. The audio quality ranges from very good to excellent. Though, it's very much comparable to wired headphones. You have then to determine that your phone has A2DP Bluetooth profile if you like to stream stereo music from it.

In connection with recharging Bluetooth headsets, it can actually be done in different ways. You can use a main adapter or your laptop or computer with the aid of a USB cable. You can also charge them through the lower or lighter socket in your own car. The standardized option is the power chargers that can charge both your phone and headset. There are also modern versions that possess the multi-point connectivity.

Additionally, if you have more than one phone like a personal one and an office phone, you can actually pair them with a Bluetooth headset. The headset is to respond the phone that receives the call first then you can transfer it to the other phone where you want the call to be received.

Some versions of this new technology offer a voice dialing facility as well, which can be considered safer and more secure when driving. All you have to do is set up your phone with the sound tags and simply press a button on the headset to activate the voice dialing.

There are also some with the call alert option, a very useful feature when you are not wearing the headset and your phone is in a silent mode or is kept somewhere else where you cannot hear its ringing sound.
